History

The Islam appeared in Aràbia from the Christian time in the 7th century with the appearance of the prophet Mahoma. A century after his death, the Islamic State spread from the Atlantic Ocean to  Central Asia. After this, rival dynasties claimed the caliphate, or leadership of the Muslim world and many states and Islamic empires offered only a symbolic obedience to the caliph, incapable of unifying the Islamic world.
